Hi, I’m Helen — a family photographer in Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross, covering South Bucks with relaxed style of photography, I’m all about about capturing real moments, not forced smiles.

If you would like a portrait of a family get together in the local area my Mini Shoots are ideal. 30 minute sessions on specifc times of the year. Usually for Bluebells, Autumn or Christmas. These are always really popular so book your session as early as you can.

The ideal mini shoot for families wanting to update their family albums and walls.
Throughout the year I offer a small number of limited edition mini shoots for £199. You can choose your 5 favoutie images from a gallery of 15 -20 professionally edited photographs.
You are then welcome to upgrade to the full set of images for just £99.
These are great if you have never had a family shoot before and would like to see what it’s like, or if you are looking for a gift option or to update your walls.

Just as we are…
How long will my session be?
It is usually between 1- 2 hours, this depends a lot on how may people there are in your group and how tolerant the children are! with really little ones it is better to keep things moving and keep it short but fun.
Help! I'm so awkward in front of a camera!
So many people say this to me! Believe me, you will soon be so relaxed and really just concerntrating on being out with the family, you will be surprised how lovely you look when you are with the people you love and you have dressed for the occasion. And don’t forget, I have had plently of experience with this and will tell you what works and what doesn’t so you won’t need to feel awkward at all. You can relax and trust me!
Please can you photoshop my wrinkles?
Again, so many people ask me this! Usually with no need at all. We always look our best when we are being ourselves!
I will always do a light edit on my photographs, to make the colours pop and the composition stunning. Your photographs will look professional and relaxed and will reflect you and your family completely.
I can certainly cover up spots and bruises if needs be though!
What is the best location for outdoor photographs?
I have plenty of special locations that I have scouted over the last few years, we can discuss the kind of shoot you would like and then work out the most suitable location, it could even be your own back garden or living room, or a unique place full of family memories. This is your shoot so you get to choose!
What if it rains?
Good question! At any time of year it’s important to keep a close eye on the changing weather. If the outlook is bleak we can either reschedule or use my studio in Chalfont St Peter.
